The Clips and Trips blog was put together in preparation for our leaving the U.S. on an indefinite world travel adventure which started around August of 2009 and returned us home in December of 2012. If you want to see where it all began, read our mission statement from before we left.

City Life, Sydney, Australia

We are so glad we decided to spend time in Sydney before leaving Australia. This is an absolutely beautiful city. Warm temperatures, Victorian architecture, great music scene, world class beaches, art, foodies, and laid back lifestyle... possibly the perfect composition for ideal city life. Sydney ranks high on my list for a possible return and long term stay.

    Sydney reminds me of Christchurch, New Zealand, which we loved. We even looked into living there (but not too seriously) and found at our ages we didn't have enough "points" to be accepted.

    I have been trying to plan a trip to Sydney and am in the process of booking a tour for the Blue Mountains Sydney . I heard they were beautiful
